Damask rose hydrolate is a natural floral water created through the distillation of Damask rose petals ( Rosa damascena ). Valued for centuries in skincare for its soothing, toning, and rejuvenating properties, it is called the "elixir of youth." It has a delicate, floral scent that relaxes the senses and improves well-being.
Damask rose petals are hand-picked at dawn, when their essential oil content is at its highest. The fresh petals are then steam distilled, yielding two products: rose essential oil and hydrolate (a floral water containing essential oil molecules and active ingredients dissolved within it). The hydrolate is gently filtered and bottled in dark glass bottles to preserve its freshness and nourishing properties.
Thanks to this process, we obtain a 100% natural product, rich in flavonoids, anthocyanins, vitamins A, C, E and B, as well as compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
